About the Session
Proposal sessions are designed to capture the moment in a natural and unobtrusive way. Every proposal is different, so the process begins with a conversation to understand the plan, location, timing, and level of involvement needed.
Prior to the proposal, we discuss where the proposal will take place and how the moment will happen. This includes whether I will be waiting at a specific location, positioned discreetly nearby, or involved behind the scenes as part of the plan. All details are confirmed ahead of time so the proposal feels seamless and uninterrupted.
On the day of the proposal, I arrive early to ensure proper positioning and timing. The proposal itself is photographed as it happens, followed by a short portrait session immediately afterward. This allows time to capture natural reactions, celebratory moments, and relaxed portraits while the emotion is still fresh.
Most proposal sessions focus on the couple, though additional photos with friends or family can be arranged if discussed in advance.
Location & Availability
Sessions are available year round in New York City and surrounding areas. Travel is available upon request.
